EV Charging Levels
If you are new to the world of electric vehicles, the terminology can be confusing. Here is look at types of EV charging levels available:
Level 1 Charging (120-Volt)
This uses the standard three-prong outlet found in your home. It is best suited for plug-in hybrids with small batteries or for drivers who travel very few miles per day. It is essentially a “trickle” charge.
Level 2 Charging (240-Volt) – Our Specialty
This is the gold standard for home EV charging station setups. It requires the same type of outlet used by a heavy-duty clothes dryer or electric range. A Level 2 station can fully charge most EVs overnight, ensuring you wake up with a “full tank” every single morning.
