We’ve never seen ourselves as just another contractor working in Overland Park. We live here, raise families here & shop at the same local businesses as our customers. When we pull into a driveway in Leawood, Lenexa, or Prairie Village, we’re often working just a few miles from our own homes.

Investing in the Next Generation of Trades
Skilled electricians keep communities running, & the next generation needs a clear path into the trade. That’s why Fusion Electric partners with local vocational programs, including Johnson County Community College (JCCC). We actively recruit JCCC apprentices & graduates, helping train & launch new state-licensed electricians right here in Johnson County.
For many young people, a career in the trades offers stability, pride & the chance to build something real. We’re glad to play a small part in opening that door. Every apprentice who grows into a skilled professional strengthens the entire KC metro.
Neighborhood Safety First
At its core, electrical work is a safety service. We share educational resources with Johnson County homeowners on topics like surge protection, code compliance & fire prevention. We also provide electrical safety inspections to help families spot hidden hazards before they become serious problems.
Our local climate makes this work especially important. Spring thunderstorms & lightning can send damaging surges through a home’s wiring. Humid summers push air conditioners & attic fans hard, adding strain to older panels & circuits. Winter ice storms & sharp temperature swings test outdoor connections & aging electrical systems. Helping neighbors understand these risks is one of the most practical ways we can give back.

For more than 20 years, Fusion Electric has been locally owned & operated, not part of a national franchise. That matters more than many people realize. When you choose a locally owned company, the dollars, jobs & support stay right here in the Kansas City metro instead of going toward national franchise overhead.
